We're looking for a smart, ambitious and talented individual to help revolutionize the liquor distribution industry in Canada. While your primary role will be software development, we are looking for someone to contribute across all areas of the business involving support, sales and product development.
Future opportunity for a leadership role exists whereby you will be mentoring a team of equally capable individuals. Software development work will consist of extending and maintaining a complex suite of web based software applications primarily written in Java. We utilize open source technologies such as Vaadin, Spring, Liferay, Linux, and MySQL.
The ideal candidate does not shy away from responsibility. This position will involve working closely with the startup’s founders. You will experience real mentorship and growth.
Ideally you have experience working within a startup, even founding one yourself. You should have a good understanding of the level of commitment and energy it takes to build not just a successful product but to bring that product to market while providing excellent customer service.
You should have a high emotional intelligence and a proven track record of building successful products. You should be a self-starter and be able to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies. Embracing challenges should come as easily as that next IPA.
Your communication skills should be exemplary. You should have the intelligence, integrity and the energy to understand our company goals and to help accomplish our mission: to revolutionize the Canadian liquor industry.
